Tell us about yourself and what led you to the residency?

My fascination with natural dyeing of fiber led me to weaving. My love of learning new processes led me to digital Jacquard weaving.

Have you had any previous experience with Digital Weaving or Jacquard?

Yes, at the Textile Arts Center Residency in Blönduós, Iceland.

Any goals for the residency you'd like to share?

I’d like to use the rainbow of yarn I dyed to make 10 yards of beautiful weavings I’m stoked to bring home! I want to continue the theme of work I made in Iceland, expressing harmony felt when sensing the natural world.
