Tell us about yourself and what led to the Residency?

I am an artist based in Brooklyn, New York working in fiber. My work explores themes of connection in contemporary culture with a focus on color interactions. I mainly work on the floor loom but am always looking for new ways to expand my weaving practice, which is what led me to Praxis and working on the TC2!

Have you had any previous experience with Digital Weaving or Jacquard?

Yes! I did the residency here at Praxis in 2024 and have taken a few file design classes with Cathryn on zoom. I love learning about all the different possibilities of this loom. I am still in the learning phase with the TC2, so I’m very grateful for this time to explore and experiment.

Any goals for the residency that you would like to share?

I want to continue familiarizing myself with the loom and have fun exploring color relationships.
