Prior experience

We recommend that residents arrive at Praxis with their project files prepared, as this will allow you to maximize your time on the loom. If you have not prepared files for the TC2 before, we strongly suggest that you take Jacquard File Design I and Jacquard File Design II, both virtual classes taught by Cathryn Amidei. Praxis staff will provide residents with some technical support on the TC2. This will be in the form of a half day of in-person support on day 1 of the residency, twice weekly check ins and communication by phone for the remainder of the residency.
