Tell us about yourself and what led you to the residency?

I am a weaver and also manage a fab lab at University of Houston so naturally I’ve been super curious about the TC2. Last summer, a friend told me about Praxis’ digital weaving residency & I applied right away. I am beyond excited to spend the next two weeks investigating this loom!

Have you had any previous experience with Digital Weaving or Jacquard?

No, none.

Any goals for the residency you'd like to share?

I like to weave overshot, and my aim is to incorporate these traditional structures into digital imagery. I don’t have much experience with a TC2 though so we will see what happens!
