Tell us about yourself and what led you to the residency?

I recently finished my MFA at Ohio University - during my time there I visited Praxis during the FRONT Triennial with the Sculpture area. I was really fascinated by the TC2 and the possibilities it had to offer.

Have you had any previous experience with Digital Weaving or Jacquard?

Any goals for the residency you'd like to share?

Using a number of different tools, I am making physical the email attachments from the massive email dataset released in connection with the downfall of the Enron Corporation during the late 1990s. This consists of a wide range of files: menu templates, corrupted text files, AutoCAD models, and whimsical clip art. So, a goal for this residency was to use digital weaving as a tool to translate these files. It seems that there is so much to explore in terms of what the TC2 is capable of and I have only scratched the surface. I hope to work more with it in the future!
