Tell us about yourself and what led you to the residency?

Completing the intro to TC2 class earlier this year, and the doors of inspiration and experimentation that opened up when I learned to translate my portrait images into fiber art. Working with the texture and color of single shuttle and triple pick weaves was too exciting to pass up

Have you had any previous experience with Digital Weaving or Jacquard?

Nope, not before the Intro class

Any goals for the residency you'd like to share?

Experiment with different weave structures and compositions, blend pattern-making with imagery. Overall get more proficient with weaving files and utilizing color and shape in an impactful way through fiber.
